The apartment was comfortable, quiet and well-appointed, while the beautiful garden - complete with beer tap - was an unexpected bonus. Breakfast in the charming main house overlooking the garden was exceptional - quality ingredients prepared with care. Thoroughly recommended.”

The Garden Room
“Thank you so much Ollie for a fabulous stay. The bed was comfortable and the Garden Room was well equipped with extra usb ports, great Wi-Fi and all the facilities required for a relaxing stay.
Yarm high street is charming, with innumerable places to eat out; a supermarket and a charming river walk, all within a few minutes walking distance of Crofton House.
The utterly stand out feature was Alfred’s Arbour with its fabulous vine, music system and the most amazing ambiance. I was transported to a different world, away from the banal and predictable roadside hotels, into a time zone that offered bone china cups, creamy scrambled egg and a magical secret garden!
Ollie is a stand out excellent host. Nothing is too much trouble. He is kindness personified. We will be back!”
